Shadowbane Emulator is pleased to announce that it has begun formation of the Internal Testing team. The primary purpose of this team will be ensuring that all performance, stability and correctness goals are achieved.
We will begin accepting applications for this team immediately.
Tester responsibilities will include:
* Finding and documenting errors
* Verifying and validating fixes
* Investigating error reports from development and external sources
Qualified individuals demonstrate the following characteristics:
* Ability to communicate effectively in the written form.
* Strong critical thinking skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong work ethic.
* Ability to work well within a team environment.
* Integrity.
* Familiarity with Shadowbane and it's systems.
Testers should be able to dedicate at a minimum 10 hours per week on average to the project. Failure to meet minimum levels of activity could result in removal from the team.
Testers will work closely with development to develop test cases, establish bug priority and ensure that players enjoy a quality experience.
No previous quality assurance or programming experience is required, although it is a plus. We are primarily looking for individuals with strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
